We got to know each other on university college, as we both study marketing. Last year we decided to join forces, and to look for a foreign experience. Our personal journey began…
Of course, we didn’t get an internship with a finger snap, a long process of teamwork preceded.
At first we did it the classical way: sending resumes and cover letters to multiple companies, without much result. After spending a few weeks sending a zillion mails, we decided to change our tack.
Using social media to find an internship was a very strategic choice. It’s with the help of LinkedIn, we found our current company: TheGoodOnes. It was love at first sight! But how did we manage to let them fall in love with us?
In order to become TheBelovedOnes, we devised a whole new concept. In fact we even used the most common thing lovers give to each other when they fall in love: chocolates. There’s also a link with our country, as we are famous for our Leonidas pralines. So we seduced our target company with a nice box of pralines, sent together with a personalized card.
This card contained a link to prezi, which you should check out. In this presentation we chose two pralines to compare ourselves with, using cool and fun puns! In a very short time, we got very popular on Twitter and Facebook thanks to a lot of people sharing this presentation!
We never imagined our concept would be this successful, and we are lucky to work for a company as TheGoodOnes. The internship sounds already promising to us, and we hope it will be very informative and exciting!
